The Finance Department is responsible for maintaining the fiscal soundness of the City of Fairfield.
Fiscal services include:

Accounting (Accounting and financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll)

Treasury (Cash managment and investments, debt service payments)

Budget (preparations of the annual budget and capital improvements plan, budget monitoring, financial forecasting and analysis)

Purchasing (ensure compliance with purchasing policy)

Other duties as may be required by the City of Fairfield.
