2010 Census Information
In March you will be getting a 2010 Census Questionaire in the mail. It is important to fill out the questionaire and return it. A census occurs every ten years on those years ending in 0. The last census was taken in 2000. The census allows us to determine the number of representatives we can send to Congress as well as other benefits for our community. The regional census office here in Iowa is hiring Census Takers. This part time work paying from $9-$14 an hour. If you know of anyone interested in working for the Census please have them call 1-866-861-2010 to find out where their closest testing site is. Practice tests are available online at: http://2010.census.gov/2010censusjobs just click on "take our practice test" on the right side of your screen.
